Ann Marie Rainey, 56

Dateline: North Attleboro, MA

Ann Marie (Laflash) Rainey, 56, of North Attleboro passed away peacefully on Friday November 7, 2008 surrounded by her adoring family at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.
Born in Whitinsville, MA on January 3, 1952 she was a devoted daughter of the late Ernest A. and Alida (Paquin) Laflash.
She grew up and was educated in Whitinsville and Woonsocket. She was employed as a Textile Worker at the Helix Technology Co. in Mansfield for over 5 years and had formerly worked at the Crown Yarn & Die Co. in South Attleboro for over 20 years.
A resident of North Attleboro for the past 27 years, she had attended St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield.
Ann Marie loved ocean fishing, camping and riding her sons all terrain vehicles. She enjoyed horse back riding and always held a special fondness in her heart for animals. Her family was very important to her and she treasured the times spent with them.
She is survived by her loving and devoted children Mark J. Laflash and his fiancée Michele Perez of Glenburn, Maine, Wayne D. Rainey of Bangor, Maine and Heather A. Rainey of Lake Elsinore, California. She was the dear sister of Ernest D. Laflash of Fall River, Roland H. Laflash of Sterling and the late Yvette E. Knight. She is also survived by 8 cherished grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews and special friends.
Prayer services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday November 12th at 10:30 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton. Burial will follow in the Cedar Knoll Cemetery, East Taunton.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday November 11th from 5-8 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home.
