TEWKSBURY: Theresa C. “Terry” (DePrimeo) Bucchio, age 66, a Tewksbury resident for 39 years, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at home.
Born in Cambridge on March 4, 1942, she was the daughter of the late William A. DePrimeo, Sr and the late Dominica (DiBiase) DePrimeo.
Terry was raised in Cambridge, attended Cambridge schools and graduated from Cambridge Rindge High School. In addition, she attended hair dressing school and worked as a hair dresser for several years.
She resided in Cambridge and Lynn until moving to Tewksbury in 1969.
In earlier years, she was employed by the General Electric Aerospace Dynamics Company in Wilmington.
According to her family, she was tremendous animal lover and loved caring for her birds, dogs, cats and fish.
She is survived by two sons, William A. Metras and his wife Sharon of Pepperell and Thomas A. Bucchio of Tewksbury; two daughters, Tammy A. Metras of Tewksbury and Diane Caputo Castillo of Arlington; seven grandchildren, Ashley M. Naughton, Kristyn S. Castillo, Maya H. Tabrizi, Alyssa J. Metras-Coltraro, Rebecca S., Matthew W. and Dominic M. Metras.
Terry was the sister of the late William A. DePrimeo, Jr.
At her request there are No Calling Hours. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12th, at 11:30 a.m. at Saint Michael Cemetery, 500 Canterbury St., Boston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701 are requested. Arrangements entrusted to Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, Tewksbury.
