Jon J. Higgins, 75 of Louisville passed away November 2, 2008.
He was a native of Salem, Oregon. He was a retired Chief of the Louisville Police Department where he worked for 27 years, an Air Force Veteran of Korea and Viet Nam, a proud member of the FOP River City Lodge 614.
He was preceded in death by his wives Anne Ross in 1969, Anna Huie in 1990, and a Step Daughter who was a Louisville Police Officer Debbie Huie in 1983.
He is survived by his son, Jon R. Higgins (Charlene) of New Hampshire, daughters; Kelly Scott (Fredrick) and Tracy Holyoke (Donald) both of Bangor, Maine; sisters, Beverly Reddington (Rick) and Sharon Lund both of Florida; grandchildren, Chris and Bryan Higgins and Rebecca and Jon Bailey; and a dear friend Wanda Marks.
There will be no services. Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown in charge of arrangements.
