Jesup- Mr. Theodore R. Wilson, age 55, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008 at Wayne Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was a native of Puerto Rico, living the past 11 years in Jesup.
He is survived by his wife, Leah Wilson of Jesup; his mother, Gladys Ramirez; a half-sister, Yasmin Goetz and a nephew, Sebastian Goetz.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 10, 2008 at 3:00 pm from the James R. Gordon Memorial Chapel of Howard~Jones~Nobles Funeral Home with Dr. Michael VonMoss and Dr. Felix Haynes officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Craig Darby, Philip Daughtry, Rick Harper, Randy Parks, Tommy Pickren, and Richard Strickland.
Honorary pallbearers will be Hubert Barton and Robert Forbes.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Jesup First Baptist Church, Finishing with Faith at 185 South Brunswick Street, Jesup, Georgia 31546 or the Humane Society of the United States at Dept. GAIT04, 2100 L Street NW,
