TEWKSBURY - Luke E. Record, age 84, an active member of the Tewksbury community, died Thursday evening, November 6, at the Blaire House of Tewksbury, after a long period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Natalie (Sinagara) Record.
He was born in Bolton, MA, on July 14, 1924, a son of the late Miles and Leola (Woodward) Record. He lived in Tewksbury the greater part of his life.
He retired from Wakefield Redimix cement company where he had worked as a cement truck driver.
Mr. Record was a member of the Tewksbury V.F.W. Post 8164, the Wilmington American Legion, and the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks Lodge, 2070.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jacklyn Cuesta and her husband Miguel of Lowell, a son and daughter-in-law, Lawrence "Larry" Record and his wife Maureen (Dawson) of Canterbury, NH; four grandchildren, Todd McLaughlin and his wife Annabelle of Billerica, Shawn McLaughlin of Candia, NH, Tina Fleming and her husband Frederick of Belmont, NH, Jason Record and his wife Holly of Belmont, NH; eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Frederick Record, James Record, Ronald Record, Irene Record, Doris Record, and Kenneth Record.
A Graveside Service was held Monday, Nov. 10, in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the New England Hospice, 190 Old Derby St., Suite 304, Hingham, MA 02043 will be appreciated.
