Evangeline F. (Anderson) Pavitt, a 2 year resident of Danvers and former 25 year resident of Wakefield and also Stoneham and 23 year North Reading resident, died on Thursday, November 6, 2008, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose following an extended illness. She was 91 years old.
Evangeline was born in Malden on March 6, 1917. She grew up in Malden where she attended Malden Public Schools. She worked for Transitron Electronics in Wakefied for many years.
Evangeline is the beloved wife of the late Samuel C. Pavitt Jr. She is the beloved sister of the late Joseph Lynch, Robert Lynch, John Lynch and Gerald Lynch. She is the devoted sister-in-law of Jean Lynch-Bittner of Florida and Michael Santino of Connecticut. She is the loving aunt of several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Evangeline's Funeral will be held on Monday, November 10, 2008, at 9 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main Street, Wakefield/Melrose line, followed by her Funeral Mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main Street, Wakefield, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be on Sunday, November 9, 2008, from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be at Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
