WORCESTER-Richard L. Wilkesman, 44, died Saturday, April 19th in Lawrence General Hospital after a sudden illness. He leaves his father, Charles R. Wilkesman and his mother, Marilyn (Germano) Wilkesman of Worcester; 2 daughters, Samantha Wilkesman of Holyoke, Nicole Walker Wilkesman of Sterling; 2 brothers, Gary husband of Cindy Germano of Fitchburg, Dana Wilkesman of Lubec, ME; 4 sisters, Marilyn wife of Michael Paquette of Lubec, ME., Charlotte Wilkesman, Kari Lyn Wilkesman, and Shelly Wilkesman all of Worcester; 2 grandchildren, Marc Nieves and Krystal Nieves both of Holyoke; 4 aunts, Sandra wife of Noel Fongeallaz of Brookfield, Dorothy wife of Stanley Burlingame of Charlton, Janet wife of Edward Goff of Spencer, Cheryl Rankin of Holland; an uncle, Albert husband of Linda Germano of Fitchburg, 5 nieces, 7 nephews, several cousins and friends. 2 brothers, Randy and Albert Wilkesman predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester and lived here for most of his life. He served in the Army National Guard. He was once a boxer at the Boy’s Club in Worcester and was an avid fisherman with the Central Mass Small Mouth Club in Worcester.
A graveside service will be Wednesday, April 23rd at 11:00 AM in Hope Cemetery. There are no calling hours. O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
