Learh Irene Churchill Radford, 79, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2005, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2005, at Eastside Baptist Church in Tifton with the Rev. Calvin Bobo officiating. Mrs. Radford was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
The deacons of Eastside Baptist Church in Tifton served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were members of Mrs. Radford's Sunday School Class at Eastside Baptist Church in Tifton.
Born March 22, 1926, in Tift County, Mrs. Radford was the daughter of the late Willard Cleveland Churchill and Addie Lee Parkerson Churchill. She retired from King's Grill; and she was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Radford is survived by her husband, Marcus Radford of Tifton; four sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Pat Monk and Roy and Susan Monk, all of Palm Bay, Florida, Robert and Connie Monk of Melbourne, Florida and Daniel and Debbie Radford of Yucca Valley, California; two daughters and one son-in-law, Minnie Hutchinson of Nashville and Marie and Billy Purvine of Griffin; numerous grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
