John “Jack Glynn, 65, of Homosassa, FL, formerly of Pembroke, died Nov. 1 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of the late James and Elizabeth (Dmohowski) Glynn. Jack is survived by his fiance’ Lesta Freeman, two brothers; Kevin Glynn and his wife Diane of Braintree, Brian Glynn and his wife Ann of RI, and many nieces and nephews. He was the husband of the late Irene “Sandy” (McEleney) Glynn. Jack was a disabled veteran serving in the US Air Force. He was an avid golfer and lifetime member of the of the Pembroke Country Club, and most recently a member of the Sugermill Woods Country Club in Homosassa, FL. He was a retired employee of the Silver Lake Regional School District. Visiting hours from the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St., Pembroke, on Fri.
