MYERS, RONALD A. SR., 65, of Louisville, died Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Norton's Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Vivian Myers; his brothers, Mickey, Raymond "Weegee" Myers; and his sister, Norma Escalante.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Marvis, who was truly his angel in life; three sons, Ronald Myers Jr., Cory Vest and Ben Vest; four daughters, Robin Payne, Brigitte Lococo (Paul), Lori Simpson-Wheeler (Jerry) and Tonya Vest, all of Louisville; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Ronald also loved his extended family at the V.F.W. Post on Longfield Ave., where he had done maintenance for several years and his AA Home Group at Churchill.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, Dixie Hwy. with burial in Evergreen Cemetery on Preston Highway.
Visitation is 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
