Obituary

LOWELL - Josephine M. Stoklosa was born in Lowell on March 15, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Lach) Stoklosa. She attended St. Stanislaus School and graduated from Lowell High School and Secretarial College.

Until her retirement, Miss Stoklosa was a Bank Executive Secretary for over forty years. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church and a member of the League of Catholic Women and the D’Youville Ladies’ Guild. For many years, she was a volunteer at St. John’s Hospital in Lowell.

Miss Stoklosa was the beloved sister of the late Rev. J. Walter Stocklosa of Lowell and the late Mitchell J. Stoklosa of Needham. She is survived by her beloved brother, Stanley J. Stoklosa of Lowell; two nieces, Elizabeth Parker and Jean Bullard, both of California; two nephews, John Stoklosa of Minnesota and David Stoklosa of Illinois; two great-nieces, Sonya Stoklosa and Anna Bullard, and two great-nephews, Karl Stoklosa and Michael Bullard.

A private funeral Mass was celebrated on November 4 at the Holy Trinity Church in Lowell, followed by a private burial in the Holy Trinity Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the DRACYT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut, MA.
