Of Peabody passed away on Nov 1, 2008 at the Quincy Medical Center. He was 91 years old. Born in Bellows Falls VT. He was a resident of Peabody most of his life he attended the Peabody schools and graduated from Peabody High School he was the manager of "Vic’s Drive In" in Peabody and was well known in the restaurant business.He was the husband of the late Katherine (McNamee) and the late Dorothy( Cohen). He was the devoted father of Rosanne Karp,Steven Sidman and his wife Brenda and Peter Sidman Loving son of the late Samuel Sidman and Celia (Weinberg) Dear Brother of the late Anna Pollack,Bess Kremer and Abe Sidman. Loving grandfather of Stacy,Matthew,Jessica,Angela,Hilary and Saundia. Loving great grandfather of Brian. Mr. Sidman was also a World War Two veteran and received the the Bronze Star. Graveside Services were held on Monday Nov 3, at 12 Noon at the Crawford St Cemetery, Baker St. West Roxbury. Memorial observance was held at Rosanne Karp’s residence thru Friday Afternoon Nov 7th.
