Daniel R. “Raymond” Beck, Jr. of Becks Way in Harmony, died Thursday, October 30, 2008 at Oakland Grove Healthcare Center in Woonsocket. He was the husband of H. Dorothy Beck.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Daniel R. and Mabel A. (Fawthrop) Beck. He lived in Harmony for 62 years.
Mr. Beck was a plasterer and member of Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ Local #40 in Providence retiring in 1991. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and member of USS Prince William CVE 31 Assoc.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Daniel R. Beck, III of Harmony, Margaret “Peg” Beck of Acton, MA, Patricia Aubin of Harmony and William Leonard Beck of Puerto Rico, seven grandchildren and a sister, Lois Disney of Harmony. He was the brother of the late Leonard Beck.
