Antonia “Toni” (Correia) Correa, age 89. Wife of Antone Correa & daughter of the late John and Jacintha (Costa) Correia. Passed away in Taunton, October 30, 2008. She was a lifelong Fall River resident, a member of St. Michael Church & was a retired machine operator at Shelbourne Shirt Co. Toni was an avid bingo player spending her winters in FL and she enjoyed sea cruises most recently visiting Alaska.
Besides her husband of Fall River, she is survived by 1 son: Steven Correa of Fall River; son-in-law John “Jack” Morrissey of Taunton; 2 siblings: Charles Correia of Swansea, Armand Correia of Tiverton; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren & several nieces & nephews. She was mother of the late Patricia Morrissey and sister of the late Joseph, Bento, John, Americo and Mary Sarah Correia and Mary Dionizio.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 N. Main St. TUESDAY at 9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 10:30 A.M. Entombment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Call hours MONDAY 4-8 P.M.
