Obituary

Acushnet – Edward D. Lebeau, 81, of Acushnet died at home after a long illness on October 29, 2008. He was the husband of Jeannette T. (Pelletier) Lebeau for 60 years.

Mr. Lebeau was born in New Bedford, son of the late Edward and Dorothy E. (Denesha) Lebeau, and resided in Acushnet most of his life. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II. He was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, Acushnet. He was employed as a machinist by Advance Cup until his retirement. He was a member of V.F.W. Private A. Poirier Post #3260 and the D.A.V. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by a son: Bruce Lebeau and his wife Nancy of St. Cloud, FL; 2 daughters-in-law: Elvia Acosta-Lebeau of New Bedford and Lisa Lebeau of Acushnet; a sister: Theresa Deneault of New Bedford; 7 grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.

He was father of the late David and Kenneth Lebeau.

At the request of the family, services will be private.
