PROVIDENCE … James L. Correia, 56, of Fall River died Tuesday October 28, 2008 accidentally.
He was the life partner of Jacqueline (Perry) Fernandes.
He was the son of the late Lionel and Irene (Duchaime) Correia and had been a life long resident of this city.
He was a self employed carpenter.
Mr. Correia was a past member of the AmVets Post #60 of Fall River and enjoyed fishing, camping, and building things.
Survivors include his life partner a daughter Tammylynn Orr and her husband Johnny of Fall River, 4 brothers: John Tavares, Ronald Tavares, and Richard Correia all of Fall River, Robert Correia of Maine, a sister Carol Correia of Maine, 3 grandchildren: Michael Rodrigues, Derek Raposo, and Sage Orr, a great grandson Jayden Orr. He was the father of the late Dawn Fernandes.
