Gregory R. Costa “The Raging Bull”, 53, of Tiverton, RI passed away accidentally Tuesday, October 28, 2008. He was the partner and soul mate of Carol Ann Silva.
Born in Fall River, son of Esmeralda “Joan” (Ribeiro) Costa of Tiverton and the late John R. Costa, he was a lifelong resident of Tiverton. A man of strong work ethic, he was the owner / operator of Raging Bull Trucking Corporation of Tiverton. Mr. Costa was a Communicant of St. Theresa’s Church, Tiverton. He loved horseback riding, enjoyed the outdoors and old cars. A strong, sensitive family man who held his family together, he was loved dearly by his family and was endeared by the community of Tiverton.
Including his mother and soul mate Carol, survivors include 3 daughters: Alicia M. Aguiar, Sheri M. Costa and Sarah B. Costa all of Fall River; 3 step-children: Clayton L., Grace and Grant W. Manchester all of Tiverton; a brother: John R. Costa and his wife Kimberly of Tiverton; 4 sisters: Paula J. Oliveira and her husband Albert of NH, Denise L. Buchanan and her husband Bruce of Tiverton, Robin A. Jones and her husband William of Swansea and Alice C. Wilkie and her husband Michael of Tiverton; he was loved by all of his grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late Christine K. Costa.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, November 1, 2008 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Theresa’s Church, Tiverton at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Friday 5 - 8 P.M.
Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
