Mr. Alan M. Garneau, 39, of 735 Second Ave., Berlin, NH passed away on Saturday October 25, 2008 at his home. He was born in Berlin, NH on September 18, 1969 the beloved son of Lorraine Lamontagne and nephew of Raymond Garneau. He lived most of his life in Berlin and had resided for a time in Colebrook in his younger years. Alan adored rock music. He was a historian of anything regarding rock and roll. He was known for his off beat sense of humor and his great puffy hair. He was loved dearly by people through out the local music scene. He was also an accomplished musician who produced his own record. He will be sadly missed by all.
Members of the family include his mother Lorraine Lamontagne of Berlin, NH; a sister Elaine Davidson of Monmouth, ME; a step-sister Nancy Heath of Milan, NH; his uncle Raymond Garneau of Fountain Valley, CA; 3 nieces, 3 nephews, 2 great-nephews and 1 great niece. He was predeceased by a brother Daniel Lamontagne in 1996.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant St., Berlin, on Friday October 31, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Kieran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
