Yvette D. (Roberge) Bernier, age 75, died Sunday, Oct. 26 at a local healthcare facility in Lowell after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Roland Bernier who died in 1998.
She was born in Lowell on April 28, 1933, the daughter of the late Leo and Annette (Paquin) Roberge. Yvette was a longtime resident of Dracut and a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a machine operator with Beauty Box in Lowell for 12 years. Yvette was also employed at Dottie Shop in Lowell for many years.
She is survived by her three sisters, Pearl Potter of Lowell, Jeanne Lupien of Debary, Florida and Lorraine Roberge of Dracut; a brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Lucille Roberge of Debary, Florida; a sister-in-law, Pauline Roberge of Dracut; also many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward Roberge.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St, Lowell on Wednesday morning, Oct. 29 from 10 until 11 o'clock followed by a Prayer Service at St. Joseph Cemetery Chapel at 11:30am. Interment to follow.
