GLOUCESTER: Donald F. Connors, 50, formerly of Beverly, died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 23, 2008.
Born in Salem on May 19, 1958, he was the son of the late Francis D. and Faith A. (Ryan) Connors. He was educated in Beverly and had resided in Beverly for many years before moving to Gloucester ten years ago.
Don worked as a truck driver and shipper-receiver on the North Shore. He loved to fish and play golf. He also played and loved all sports and had a great passion for animals.
He loved his family and is survived by three brothers, Michael and his wife, Kelly Connors, Dale Connors and his fiancée, Donna Yaeger and Stephen Connors, with whom he resided, two sisters, Theresa and her husband, Randall Jeffrey and Sharon and her husband, Mike Provost, eight nieces and nephews, Lindsay, Michael and Mark Connors, Sharon and Mary D’arcangelo, Alexander Grayton, Amy Provost and Krystle Connors and many dear friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
His funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. There are no visiting hours. Expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Cape Ann Food Pantry, 28 Emerson Ave., Gloucester, MA 01930.
