Donald W. White age 84 of Salem, NH, died Sunday at the Academy Manor Nursing Home, Andover, MA.
He was born in Malden, MA, grew up and was educated in Everett, MA, where he graduated from Everett High School in 1942. He was a resident of Salem for the past 44 years, also wintering in Clearwater, Florida.
Mr. White was a retired manager for New England Telephone in Chelsea, MA. He was a US Army Veteran, serving during World War II. He was a member of the Derry Salem Elks Lodge. He was a Mason and an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his family and friends.
He is predeceased by his Wife: Christine A. (Critch) White
He is survived by 2 Daughters: Deborah Lee of Florida

1 Son: James & his Wife Bernadette Babine of Florida
1 Brother: Spencer & his Wife Merle White of Wells, ME
1 Sister: Doris “Deb” Hagman of Reading, MA
2 Grandsons: James Babine & Michael Nazzaro

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Oct. 29 from 9-11 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody, MA.
