Caroline E. Congo, 81, of Berry Street, Derry, NH died Tuesday April 15, 2003 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born in Derry, NH on August 19, 1921, a daughter of the late Charles and Caroline (Waterfield) Preston Sr. She was a lifelong resident of Derry. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Derry.
She is survived by her husband Paul B. Congo Sr., of Derry, two sons, Paul Congo, Charles Congo, both of Derry, three daughters, Laurie Ashton, Pembroke Pines, FL, Sharon Clarke, Marylee Gangi, both of Derry, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, Theresa Nadeau, Manchester, Joanne Thornton, Bradenton, FL, many nieces and nephews.
Liturgy of the Word will be offered Saturday April 19, 2003 at 10:00am at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Burial will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 7 – 9 pm.
