DAVENPORT, EVELYN "BET" RUSSELL, 89, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2008 at her residence.
She was the former Evelyn "Bet" Russell of Greensburg, KY. She was the retired owner and operator Davenport Beauty Shop and was a member of the Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Porter Davenport.
She is survived by her children, daughter, Vicki Herrold and son, Scott Davenport (Sharon); sisters, Mary "Russ" Lynch, Margaret "Bunch" Pickett, Tina Rosenbaum and Millie Turner; and two grandchildren, Russ and Doug Davenport.
Funeral will be Tuesday, 10 a.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in the Davenport Family Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. E.S.T.
Visitation Monday, from 2-8 p.m. Expressions to Hosparus of Louisville or the Athletic Scholarship Fund at Bellarmine University.
