DIAZ- Of Chelsea, October 26th, Mariana (Rodriguez). Devoted mother of Jacqueline Ward of Texas and the late Diane Diaz-Felix and Maggie Diaz-Bodwell. Beloved sister of Mercedes Rodriguez of New York City, Jose Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez and Pedro Rodriguez all of Puerto Rico, Luis Rodriguez of Philadelphia, Naomi Osorio of Florida, Dalia Bermudez of East Boston and the late Salvador Rodriguez, Angelina Burgos and Abel Rodriguez. Cherished grandmother of Jessica Montalvo, Juan Steven Sanchez, Jasmine Montalvo, Jennifer Montalvo, Melanie Felix-Pena, Laura Felix and Raquel Felix. Also lovingly survived by 13 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Born in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico 65 years ago, Mariana passed away at the Massachusetts General Hospital Sunday after a courageous battle with cancer. For many years, she worked as a home health aide for various healthcare providers.
