CHANDY, DR. VARUGHESE K., 62, of Teaneck died on Saturday, October 25, 2008. Beloved husband of Annamma Varughese. Devoted father of Marie Varughese and the late Jerry Varughese (1988). Before retiring Chandy was the Chief Financial Officer of the United Nations in Haiti and the Financial Controller of New York City Health and Hospitals Cooperation. Chandy was the President of various Indian Associations, a community leader, a pioneer of the Indian American Political Action Council, NJ and a member of the St. Peter’s Mar Thoma Church, Teaneck.
Viewing Sunday, October 26th from 4:00-9:00 PM and Monday, October 27th from 9:00-10:00 AM at St. Peter’s Mar Thoma Church, 70 Cedar Lane, Teaneck.
