Barbara A. (Siebert) Williams, a 54 year resident of Wakefield, died on Thursday, October 23, 2008, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose following an extended illness. She was 71 years old.
Barbara was born in Boston on December 12, 1936. She grew up in Charlestown where she attended St. Francis De Sales Parochial School and graduated from Rosary Acadamy High School in Watertown. Barbara worked for several years at Filene's Basement Distribution Center in Somerville as a marker in their clothing department. She also worked at Greenview Manor Nursing Home in Wakefield as a nurses assistant for several years.
Barbara is the beloved wife of the late Paul F. Williams. She is the adored and devoted mother of Gerilynn A. Amico and her husband Tony of Wakefield. She is the loving Nana to Alexandra A. Amico of Wakefield. She is the sister of the late John Siebert. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces & nephews.
Barbara's Funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at 9 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main Street, Wakefield/Melrose line, followed by her Funeral Mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main Street, Wakefield, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be at Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
