Dear son of the late William and Ruth McDermott. Devoted brother of Stephen of Quincy, Sheila O’Brien of Dorchester, Karen McHale of Melrose, Joseph of Dorchester, and Joan of FL. William is also adored by many brother and sister in laws. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visiting hours in the John J. O’Connor & Son Funeral Home, 740 Adams St. (near Gallivan Blvd) DORCHESTER, on Sunday from2-5pm, and Monday from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Neponset, Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.
