Obituary

PAXTON-Judith A. (Noonan) Griffin, 62 of 12 Cutler Road, died Saturday, January 29th in the Jewish Healthcare Center after a year long battle with a brain tumor. She leaves her husband of 45 years Robert J. Griffin, a son James P. Griffin of Auburn, 2 daughters Kathleen M. and Sheila A. Griffin both of Paxton, 2 grandchildren and her aunt Anna Diggins of Worcester.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Harold and Julia (Diggins) Noonan and had lived in Worcester for many years before moving to Paxton. Mrs. Griffin had owned and operated the JB Coffee Shop on Main Street for 6 years and retired in May, previously she and her husband owned the Early American Shop for 22 years. She was a member of St. Peter’s Parish.

The funeral will be Wednesday January 2nd from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, January 1st from 5:00 until 8:00 PM.
