Olga Wuschke, 87

Olga (Kunke) Wuschke, 87, of Mansfield passed away on Thursday October 23, 2008 at the Epoch Senior Health Care Center in Sharon. She was the beloved wife of the late Theodore R. “Ted” Wuschke to whom she was wed to for 43 years at the time of his death on May 11, 1993.
Born in Indian Fields, New York on April 27, 1921 she was a daughter of the late Sigmund and Alexandra (Patz) Kunke.
She grew up in Raynham and was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1938.
She had worked at Motorola in Mansfield for 10 years prior to retiring and served as a dedicated homemaker to her loving family.
Mrs. Wuschke was a charter member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Foxboro where she belonged to for 47 years and was active in many church groups. She was also a volunteer and active member of the Mansfield Senior Center.
In her spare time Olga enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will always be remembered for her exceptional cooking skills. She had made her home in Mansfield for the past 58 years.
She is survived by her devoted children Alice L. Wuschke of Foxboro, Richard A. Wuschke and his wife Marion of Mansfield and her step son Theodore W. Wuschke and his wife Patricia of Bonita Springs, Florida. She was the sister of the late Herman Kunke. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, her sister in law Elinor Kunke of West Carrollton, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday October 27th at 11:00 A.M. at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer 212 Main St. (Route 140) Foxboro. Burial will follow in the Spring Brook Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday October 26th from 4-7 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield.
