Obituary

Salem: Constance M. (Clark) Levesque age 86 of Salem, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Peabody.
She was the wife of the late Laurier A. Levesque.

Born and raised in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Maxner) Clark. A graduate of Beverly High School, she joined the Navy and served stateside during World War II. Following her tour of duty, she returned to Beverly and worked as a nurses’ aid until her marriage to Larry in 1948. While raising her young family, Connie worked the night shift as a nurses’ aid at the Salem Hospital. She was a very devoted wife and mother. She was especially close to Larry’s family and one could easily say that there was a mutual adoption.

Connie loved to knit and afghans were her specialty. One of her greatest thrills was to discover that one of her afghans won a blue ribbon at the Topsfield Fair several years ago

She is survived by her daughter, Laurie A. Levesque of Lynn, her son, Kevin R. Levesque and his wife Janis of Danvers, 2 grandsons, Wayne R. Levesque of Wilmington and Jason Levesque of Texas, a great-grandson Lincoln and her brother, Robert Clark of Pennsylvania. Connie also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service on Friday, October 24, 2008 at 10:30 am in the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St., [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem. Visiting hours: Thursday, 4 to 8 pm. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
