Manchester– Edward J. Wilusz Sr., 90, died October 18, 2008 at Concord Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born on August 23, 1918 the son of Walter and Mary Wilusz.
He served his country as a sergeant in the U. S. Army Medical Corps during World War II in both India and China.
He worked for the Veterans Administration Medical Center in the maintenance department.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was predeceased by his wife M. Jean (Bertrand) Wilusz on September 18, 2006.
Family members include 3 sons, Edward J. ”Joe” Wilusz Jr., of North Hero VT., Robert L. Wilusz, of Soldotna, Alaska, Richard F. Wilusz, of Pittsfield, 5 grandchildren, 1 brother Stanley Wilusz, and 1 sister Stella Lamarche, both of Manchester.
Services: Calling hours will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm at J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 am in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in St. Hedwig cemetery.
