Doris V. (Harris) Strickland Brenton, 84, of Salem, NH died Mon. Oct. 20th at the Caritas Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA after a short illness.
Doris was the daughter of the late Charles and Frieda Harris of Sweden. She grew up in Medford, MA graduating from Medford High School and Boston Business School. Doris worker in insurance and was a real estate broker for many years.
Doris loved her family and had many friends. She loved parties, playing cards, craft shows, the Red Sox and especially spending time with her family.
Doris was predeceased by her first husband Arthur R. Strickland and her second husband Reginald S. Brenton.

She is also survived by many wonderful great grandchildren who were pure joy to her. We all loved her dearly and will miss her forever.
Memorial Visitation will be Thurs. Oct. 23rd from 4 -6 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A Funeral Service will follow at 6 PM at the funeral home.
