Anna T. (Lysyj) Raposa, age 86, lifelong resident of Fall River, passed away October 19, 2008. Wife of Alfred P. Raposa and daughter of the late Andrew and Sophie (Dziedzic) Lysyj. She was born in Fall River, a member of St. Joseph Church and of the 10-20 Club. She was a retired weaver at Arkwright Mfg.
Besides her husband of Fall River, 1 sister survives her: Stephanie “Stella” Charest of Fall River; several nieces & nephews. She was sister of the late Stanley Lysyj, Josephine Christianson, Wanda Brilliant, Alice Supernant and Bolvina Werbinski.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL, 1521 N. Main St. Wednesday at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10 A.M. Entombment in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours Tuesday 6-9 P.M.
