Milton Steinmetz of Revere and formerly of Winthrop died on October 19, 2008. He was 79 years old.
Milton was born in Boston and spent many years in both Revere and Winthrop. He was educated in the Winthrop schools and high school and graduated from Northeastern University. He was retired from the Defense Industry and was a member of the Masons. Milton was a Korean War veteran.
Milton was the devoted father of Jay Steinmetz and his wife Stacey. He was the dear brother of Dorothy Sokol and her husband Ed, and the late Marjorie. Milton was the loving grandfather of Bryn, and was also the loving uncle of Andrew, Brian, & Mark Sokol. Graveside service at the New Tifereth Israel of Winthrop Cemetery, Fuller St., Everett on Wednesday, October 22nd at 1:00 PM. Memorial observance will be private.
