Obituary

WORCESTER___Robert A. Ceppi, 74, of 130 Delmont Ave., died Sunday April 13 in Jewish Healthcare Center, 629 Salisbury St., after a long illness.

He leaves his wife of 49 years, Theresa M. (Lapierre) Ceppi, a son, Robert J. Ceppi of Spencer; two daughters, Diane T. Barter of Berlin and Linda M. Warner of Spencer; a brother, Roger J. Ceppi of Worcester; a sister, Elda M. Ceppi of Worcester; six grandchildren; three step grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Joseph and Gemma (Blotto) Ceppi and lived here all his life.

Mr. Ceppi was a glazier for National Glass Co. and then Pittsburgh Plate Glass Co., working 45 years before retiring in 1990.

He was a retired Master Sergeant with 24 years of service with the 212th E.I.S. Squadron of the Massachusetts Air National Guard.

Mr. Ceppi was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and was a life member of Alhambra Council 88, Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of Glaziers and Glassworkers local 1044.He was graduated from Commerce High School.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday April 16 from Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St., with a Mass at 12:15 p.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
