WRIGHT, SR. GARY LEE
Gary Lee Wright, Sr., 66, of Summerville, husband of JoAnn Simmons Wright, died Saturday, October 18, 2008 at Summerville Medical Center.
A memorial service for Mr. Wright will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 1 o’clock at Summerville Church of the Nazarene, 10825 Hwy. 78, Summerville. Burial will be private. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the time of service.
Mr. Wright was born July 23, 1942 in Richmond, VA, son of Grover Wright of Mechanicsville, VA and the late Lelia Gary Wright. He was retired from the United States Navy. After retirement Mr. Wright worked for the State Ports Authority, Lieber Correctional Institute and J.W. Aluminum in Security.
Gary was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors, including Mrs. Wright, are three sons; Gary Wright, Jr. (Robin) of Goose Creek, Billy Wright (Sheila) of Goose Creek, and Doug Wright of Goose Creek, one stepson; William Arthur (Debbie) of Summerville and one stepdaughter; Angelia Carpenter (Brian) of North Charleston, nine grandchildren, two brothers; Keith Wright and Chris Wright of Virginia and one sister; Brenda Meharg of Virginia. He was predeceased by one sister; Donna Lundsford.
