Mrs. Julia (Collins) Harrington, 81, of Methuen, MA., passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17th, 2008 at the Wingate at Andover, after a brief illness.
She was born in Skibbereen County Cork, Ireland, daughter of late John and Mary Collins. Mrs. Harrington was educated in the local schools of Ireland. She later moved to England, where she enjoyed her youth and worked with family and friends.
Upon her marriage, she and her beloved husband Richard immigrated to Lawrence were they raised their family. Julia enjoyed her Children and Grandchildren, she loved to Bake and was an avid gardner, especially with flowers.
Julia was very active in Saint Mary's Church in Lawrence, MA. and in Saint Lucy's Church in Methuen, MA.
wife of the late: Mr. Richard Harrington who passed away in 2004.

Six loving grandchildren:
Meghan, Catherine, Brian, Tyler, Kayla Harrington all of Methuen, MA. and Claire Harrington of Arlington, MA. as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 21st, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Lucy's Church in Methuen, MA.
Burial will follow at the Saint Mary's Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
