Dermody and her husband Lawrence Kupferschmidt of Audubon PA, William R. Dermody and his wife Cathy of Needham, Robert J. Dermody of Bristol, RI. Grandmother of Michael, Kristen, Caitlin and Ryan Dermody and Darcy and Courtney Kupferschmidt. Sister of Dr. Thomas F. Hewes of Little Compton, RI. Daughter of the late W. Raymond and M. Frances (Fallon) Hewes. Graduate of Emmanual College, Class of 1952 and Masters Wellesley College, Class of 1954. Laboratory Instructor at Wellesley College for 26 years. Active member of St. Jospeh's Parish, Needham for over 70 years. Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. (Exit 19B off Rte 128), NEEDHAM, Tuesday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, Needham at 9 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham.
