
Jewel Adele Will, 72, of Summerville, wife of David E. Will, died Thursday morning, October 16, 2008 at Trident Medical Center.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 1 o’clock at Salem Baptist Church, Summerville. Burial will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens, Moncks Corner.
Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 12 o’clock until the hour of service.
Flowers will be accepted.
Jewel was born June 5, 1936 in Bennettsville, South Carolina, daughter of the late Ronald R. Griggs and Ruby Creason Griggs. She was a graduate of Bennettsville High School. She was past president of the Summerville Elks Ladies Auxiliary. She retired as a weaver with GARCO and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are:
2 daughters and 2 sons: Linda Stewart of Summerville, Rev. Robert Rivers and his wife Pamela of Moncks Corner, Dawn Marie Domminicci and her husband Curtis of Bellrose, New York and Mike Will and his wife Nichol of Hicksville, NY.
5 grandchildren: Crystal Stewart, Roman Rivers, Rocky Rivers and his wife Kim, Raven Gruber and her husband Timothy and Lauren Domminicci.
3 great grandchildren: Jessica Stewart, Rylan “Rowdy” Rivers and Chandler Ward Rivers.
1 brother and 1 sister: Wesley Rouse Griggs of Goose Creek and Katie Griggs Sky of Fayetteville, NC
She was predeceased by 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
