A Special Angel Has Been Called Home
Ann (Lapointe) Brideau, of Sandown, NH, died Tuesday evening, October 14, 2008 at her home surrounded by her loving family a courageous 5 ½ year battle with cancer. Ann was the daughter of the late Louis P. and Georgette Lapointe, and was a resident of Sandown for the past 23 years. Ann grew up in Lawrence, MA and was a member of the first coed graduating class of the Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational High School in 1973. Ann worked for 21 years at Herrington Catalog in Londonderry, NH, in various positions until assuming her role as operations manager 10 years ago. Ann treasured her time with her loving husband Paul, especially their many trips to the New Hampshire and Maine seacoasts, and visits with her son Erik, daughter Alyson and her 16 month old grandson Braydon.
Ann is survived by her husband and best friend Paul Brideau of Sandown; her son Erik Keenan of Sandown; her daughter Alyson Keenan and her fiance’ Robert Parker and their son Braydon all of Methuen, MA; her two stepsons, Mike Brideau of Manchester, NH, and Craig Brideau of Groton, CT; her three special sisters and friends who loved her dearly, Marie Guerin of Lawrence, Diane Corriveau and her husband Joel of Methuen, and Nancy Bailey and her husband Don of Concord, NH. Ann also leaves her dear aunt Yvette Weigel of Methuen; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many, many dear friends. She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Richard Guerin.
Following cremation, calling hours were held on Saturday, October 18th from 9 – 11:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 1:00pm in St. Anne Church, 26 Emerson Ave., Hampstead, NH.
