WORCESTER____Stella A. (Magerowski) Fournier, 86, of 7 Rockingham Place, died Saturday April 12 in Christopher House, 10 Mary Scano Dr.
Her husband of 51 years, Joseph G. Fournier died in 1992.
She leaves a son, Joseph T. Fournier of Hopkinton; two daughters, Lucille F. Westberg of Sturbridge and Joyce M. Jacobsen of Paxton; two brothers, Thaddeus Magerowski and Joseph A. Magerowski, two sisters, Sophie M. Kuczka and Wanda A. Berestin, all of Worcester; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A brother, John J. Magerowski of Worcester died in 1996. A sister, Helen F. Norris of Worcester died in 1993. Another sister, Jane E. O'Brien of Worcester died in 1963. She was born in Worcester, daughter of John and Frances (Szlachetka) Magerowski and lived here all her life.
Mrs. Fournier worked for many years at Standard Lock Washer & Manufacturing Co., Inc., and retired several years ago.She was a member of St. Stephens Church and the American Steel & Wire Retirees Club.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday April 16 from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Stephens Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday April 15 from 6 to 8 p.m.
