Obituary

Arnold M. Reppucci, a long-time church organist in the Boston area, died Sunday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center after a long illness. He was 74.

Mr. Reppucci was born in Somerville, the son of the late Martin and the late Lucia (Barletta) Reppucci. A quiet and private man, Arnold trained as a classical musician and conductor. He was band leader for Somerville High for many years. He enjoyed playing the organ most and played at several churches in the Boston area including St. James and St. Francis in Medford and most recently at St. Francis of Assisi in East Cambridge. Arnold grew-up in Somerville and lived in Medford for many years. In 1980 he moved to Stoneham where he lived until his death.

Arnold is survived by his dear friend and musical collaborator Bill Mahaney of Somerville.

Arnold’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, Thursday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass offered in St. Clement Church, Medford-Somerville at 10 AM.
Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
