LEBANON, PA-Elizabeth M. (McMenemy) Reilly 102, formerly of Windsor, CT, Worcester, MA and Kearny, NJ died Saturday, April 12th at home after an illness. Her husband, M. Joseph Reilly predeceased her. She leaves a son, Brendan husband of Claire Reilly of Windsor, CT; a daughter, Bette wife of Jack Tavolaro of Lebanon, PA; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A daughter, Kathleen Murphy, a brother, William McMenemy, and 3 sisters, Mary McMenemy, Helen Marchessault and Kathleen Reardon all predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of William and Bridget (Dowd) McMenemy and lived many years in Kearny, NJ before moving back to Worcester then to Windsor, CT and later Lebanon, PA. She was a former member of Our Lady of the Angels Church in Worcester.
The funeral will be Wednesday, April 16th at 9:00 AM from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are from 4:00 until 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 15th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603.
