Robert R. Cote 71, of Newland Ave., died Friday in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Lorraine (Desilets) Cote. Mr. Cote was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Edward and Rosilda (Dubois) Cote. He was a spray painter for Consolidated Coating for ten years before retiring six years ago.
He is survived by four sons Raymond Cote of Ocean Side, CA, Richard and Rodney Cote both of Woonsocket, and Roland Cote of Pascoag, four daughters Patricia Studley, Lynne Faria and Lorrie Cote all of Woonsocket, and Debra Davis of Coral Springs FL, a brother Arthur Cote of Lincoln, two sisters Shirley Poissant of Woonsocket, and Jeannette Petite of Cumberland, twenty three grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. He was the father of the late Ronald Cote, and brother of the late Ernest, and Edward Cote, Rachel Fontaine, and Theresa Desjardins.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
