Ellen Louise Proctor Hanley, 96, Clarksville, died Thursday, October 9, 2008, at Clarksville Manor. Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday at Greenwood Cemetery with The Rev. Dorothy Hartzog officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hanley was a life-long resident of Clarksville. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church of Clarksville and was an active member of the Women's Guild for fifteen years. She was predeceased by two brothers, four sisters, and parents, Sarah Margaret Proctor and John Henderson Proctor. She was the widow of William Lester Hanley, also of Clarksville, and mother of Betty Hanley Harrell of Mililani, Hawaii and Bill Hanley of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
