Roger Westhaver, 61, of Marshfield, passed away October 9, 2008 after a long illness surrounded by his family and friends.
Roger was the owner of the Bare Cove Gourmet, in Hingham. Born in 1947 and raised in Quincy, Roger graduated from Cornell University.
He is survived by the love of his life, Tracy Wilde, and their son, Jack Westhaver, 10, of Marshfield, and his son Roger, Jr. of Weymouth. Also survived by his brother Richard Westhaver and his wife, both of Norwell, his close friend and business partner Iwon Setiwan and his devoted staff of Bare Cove Gourmet.
Roger was a devotee of the culinary arts, science fiction, traveling, and Chateau Margaux. He loved nothing better than to be in the company of his many close friends and family.
Visiting Hours will be on Saturday from 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), in HINGHAM.
Friends and family are invited to the funeral service in the funeral home on Sunday at 1:30 PM.
