Obituary

Worcester – Victor T. “Tiny” Dennett Jr., 67, of Worcester died in Monday, October 6th in Ware after being stricken ill.

Mr. Dennett is survived by a son Michael Z. Dennett and his wife Lisa of Willimantic, CT; two daughters Charlotte M. Thornhill and her husband Gary of Roanoke, VA and Angela J. Matlock of Louisville, KY; his mother Winifred E. Carlson of North Grosvenor dale, CT; his step mother Florence J. Dennett of Brookfield, MA; a step daughter Melissa Veach and her husband James of Glens Falls, NY; three brothers Robert Dennett, Neil Dennett and Stephen Dennett all of Worcester; a half sister Anita Carlson of Ct; two half brothers Eddie Carlson and Richard Carlson both of CT; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren, many nephews and nieces and his beloved cat “Key”.

He was born in Ware, MA son of the late Victor T. Dennett Sr. and is predeceased by five brothers Thomas, John, Donald, Terrance and David Dennett and a half sister Ann Carlson. Victor served in the United States Army.

Mr. Dennett worked as a machinist for over 25 years at the A & C Tool Company in Worcester before retiring in 2006. He enjoyed fly fishing, wood carving, making hand carved furniture and collecting coins. He was also a member of the Massachusetts High Power Rifle Team.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th at 11 AM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
