Giarratana, Teresa passed away Monday, October 6, 2008. She was born and raised on the Lower East Side of New York City. Teresa lived in Teaneck for 42 years and was a parishioner at Holy Trinity Church in Hackensack. She was a nurse at Holy Name Hospital for 33 years, before retiring in 1999 and moving to Ocean County, NJ. She is survived by her sisters Anne Tullo and Helen Melchionno, three children, Laraine Sauer, Frank Giarratana, and Charles Giarratana, her daughter-in-law Marie, son-in-law Steven and her grandchildren Melissa, Steven, Michael, and Andrei. Family and friends are invited to visit Friday 6-8PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck, a funeral service will take place on Saturday at 10:30AM at the funeral home.
