Francis J. "Frank" Brown, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, died on Monday, October 6, 2008, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose following an extended illness. He was 65 years old.
Frank was born in Melrose on November 8, 1942. He grew up in Wakefield where he attended Wakefield Public Schools and graduated from Essex Agricultural School in Danvers. Frank worked for over 20 years at Metal Crafters in Methuen in their shipping and recieving department. He retired a few years ago.
Frank is the devoted father of Charles F. Brown of Pompano Beach, Florida, and Suzan Aliberti formerly of Wakefield. He is the loving grandfather of Kevin, Nadia, Nick, Tony, Joey and Angela. He is the beloved brother of Ann Fisher of Oklahoma, James Brown of Wakefield, Thomas Brown of Florida, Robert Brown of Missouri, Catherine Beliveau of Wakefield, Mary Zagarella of Melrose, John Brown and Patricia Valdez both of Oklahoma, the late Leo and George Brown. He is the dear uncle of 39 nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, October 10, 2008, from 3 to 7 p.m. followed by his Funeral Service at 7 p.m. in The Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main Street, Wakefield/Melrose line. Cremation will take place following his service.
