Miss Frances A. DiStefano 86, of Medford formerly of Boston’s West End died Monday in the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford.
Born in Boston, daughter of the late Sebastiano and the late Concetta (Caramanio) DiStefano, she worked as a stitcher in the garment industry. In addition to her work she enjoyed custom making custom clothing, knotting and crocheting. In her spare time she enjoyed dancing.
She is the aunt of Connie Stavre of Somerville, Ann DiStefano and Joseph DiStefano of Tewksbury. Sister of the late John, Salvatore and Guy Di Stefano, Margaret MacMillan, Carmella and Rose DiStefano. Also survived by many grand nieces and grand nephews. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 8:00 am. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, at 9:00. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit the morning of the funeral. Services will conclude with burial at St. Michael Cemetery, Boston.
